ThinkFast Survey

"We have, for the first time, the data to determine our needs and to design our prevention programs....The data will help us focus on the positive and measure strengths." – Mia Vickers, TN Governor’s Highway Safety Office

Introduced in 2008, ThinkFast trivia games now include survey questions that anonymously poll your audience to gather extensive data regarding perceptions of participants. A classic method of data collection, the ThinkFast survey feature is a useful tool to collect and analyze a nearly limitless range of data with reliable results.

Much of the cost of data collection is in providing staff and hard resources, such as paper copies of a survey. By harnessing the power of ThinkFast’s technology, you can create, conduct, and review surveys at a much lower cost, while gathering information with a speed and efficiency that you could never achieve using paper surveys.

Customizability
The nature of the ThinkFast software makes it easy for you to customize the survey questions to meet your needs, adding questions to address topics of local interest. Our survey can offer valuable feedback on your students' academic and campus life experiences--information that can be used for student assessment activities, accreditation and self-study reports, campus planning, and policy analysis. It can also offer feedback on students' post-college plans immediately following graduation. You may provide questions for your special event, or hire TjohnE staff to help you create new questions.

The TjohnE catalog of awareness survey questions includes many questions from other reputable, large-scale surveys from organizations such as the Middle Peninsula Northern Neck CSB Substance Abuse Services, the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Research shows that in anonymous, confidential surveys there is a high degree of validity in student answers—even with sensitive questions. Use your ThinkFast survey data to gain a thorough understanding of the scope and nature of student risk behaviors and assets (resilience), and make sound decisions about allocation of resources, programming, and the effectiveness of your efforts.
