PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
Although this event is self-contained, the following are minimum technical requirements to help ensure a successful event.
1. Please hand the payment for this event to the road manager on the day of the performance, or call Marin at 877/295-5559 to make other arrangements.
2. Access to performance area at least two (2) hours in advance of show time for equipment set up. Loading dock or main floor (street level) entrance required. Equipment cannot go up and down stairs. Production sites on floors, other than main floors, will require a service elevator.
3. Darkened performance area; direct sunlight will adversely affect the quality of the movie projected on the screen. For indoor use of Drive In Movie, client must provide a darkened space with 20’ ceilings. For outdoor venues: Client must provide a dry, flat surface. In the case of inclement weather for outdoor shows, we request for an alternative indoor location to be provided. NOTE: electrical specifications remain the same for an outside show.
4. Four (4) people minimum to assist with load-in, set-up, teardown, and load out.
5. Four (4) separate 110 volt, 20 AMP power circuits at performance venue.
6. Two (2) 6' x 8' tables and two (2) chairs should be located in production area (backstage).
7. If the Drive In Movie begins and must be cancelled or shut down for any reason (other than technical problems), the event will be considered completed.
8. Drive In is insured, however, for an additional $50, your organization will be listed as additional insured.
9.Client is responsible for providing the movie.
10. The Drive In Movie crew requests one meal while on location. Drinks must be available for the duration of event.
11. Cancellation/Change Date Policy: By signing this contract, client agrees to provide the space required (as listed on the rider) for this event. If the required space is NOT secured, or, in the event of inclement weather on the day of this contracted event, the client agrees to mail one check, made out to TjohnE, for the full amount of the payment. Client may also hand the payment to the TjohnE road manager. In an effort to keep a good relationship, TjohnE further agrees to return to the college within two semesters for the cost of $1500.00 plus lodging.
