PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
Although this event is self-contained, the following are minimum technical requirements to help ensure a successful event.
1. Please hand the payment for this event to the road manager on the day of the performance, or call Marin at 877/295-5559 to make other arrangements.
2. Access to performance area at least two (2) hours in advance of show time for equipment set up. Loading dock or main floor (street level) entrance required. Equipment cannot go up and down stairs. Production sites on floors, other than main floors, will require a service elevator.
3. Three (3) separate 110 volt, 20 amp power supplies at performance location.
4. One (1) dressing room is needed for ESP host and assistant to change into their show clothes.
5. Controlled lighting is requested to insure good visibility on screens, and avoid direct sunlight. One (1) spotlight.
6. Performance Area 40 x 15 x 15'. ESP staff is trained to accommodate most area issues. Please notify TjohnE staff member about extreme venue issues in advance so we can accommodate your event.
7. One person (1) to direct ESP staff to performance site. Four (4) persons to assist with load in and load out of ESP equipment. Two (2) persons to assist with the distribution of ESP audio response system remotes prior to performance, and a 3 x 8 table. School is responsible for stolen remotes.
8. ESP is insured, however, for an additional $50, your organization will be listed as additional insured.
9. The ESP crew requests one meal while on location (pizza, sandwiches, cafeteria, etc.). Drinks must be available for the duration of event (i.e., water, pop, coffee, etc.).
10. Outside Shows will be approved only in a controlled environment. A minimum 40 x 40 block out tent with sides for day show and a 40 x 40 tent with sides for nighttime show. A 20 x 20 riser for all outside shows. NOTE: electrical specifications remain the same for an outside show.
11. Video-taping or photos of any kind is prohibited without the consent of TjohnE. If approved, a copy must be given to an ESP staff member prior to departure.
12. This contract includes a total of $200.00 cash to be awarded to the winning team(s) by ESP Corporation.
13. TjohnE will pay you for high resolution photos of your event. Call your representative for details.
14. Cancellation/Change Date Policy: By signing this contract, client agrees to provide the space required (as listed on the rider) for this event. If the required space is NOT secured, or, in the event of inclement weather on the day of this contracted event, the client agrees to mail one check, made out to TjohnE, for the full amount of the payment. Client may also hand the payment to the TjohnE road manager. In an effort to keep a good relationship, TjohnE further agrees to return to the college within two semesters for the cost of $1000.00 plus lodging.
