Often called the "Temptations of the 21st century," TjohnE presents Regency, a five man a cappella group from Baltimore, Maryland, with talent to burn, will dazzle you with their creativity, energy and enthusiasm. Their lineup is an impressive one including twins, Dewayne and Wayne McNeil, Milton Ames, bass Isaiah Simmons and Aubrey Brown, Jr. Their repertoire includes dozens of tunes from the 50's through the 90's by artists such as: The Temptations, Otis Redding, The Righteous Brothers, Sam Cooke, Elvis Presley, James Brown, The Four Tops and many, many more.

Although their show includes oldies but goodies, they also perform country and western tunes and contemporary music. Regency presents a night of what it calls "a cappella, jazz-appella, funk-appella, rap-appella and rock-appella" -- mixed with high energy, humor and audience involvement. Regency is a sensation from start to finish and they invite the audience to party like they are on stage. Their sound rips through barricades, bringing together both young and old. Their stage presence comes complete with all the showmanship and characteristics of all the great groups and artists of days gone by.

Regency has toured clubs, festivals, over 300 college campuses and has written original commercials and jingles. The group has won many, many awards. Among their prizes is the prestigious National Association of Campus Activities (N.A.C.A.) Campus Contemporary Music Artists of the Year, the N.A.C.A. Campus Jazz Artists of the Year, the N.A.C.A. Performing Artists of the Year and the East Coast Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Championship. They have been nominated several times for Entertainers of the Year through N.A.C.A.
